HONDA Civic歐規掀背款將在英國生產，第四代CR-V將隨後跟上

英國的Swindon廠區（Honda of the UK Manufacturing；HUM）

專為歐洲所設計並實地測試的歐規第九代HONDA Civic掀背車，預計將於2012上半年在歐洲上市，並由英國HUM（HONDA of the UK Manufacturing）在Swindon的廠區進行生產；而最新第四代CR-V同樣也將在此生產，但在歐洲上市時間可能還要等到2012年秋季。據了解，HUM將會是全球唯一生產掀背款HONDA Civic的車廠，但目前尚無法確認最新第九代Civic掀背款與美規版的差異，但既然第九代Civic掀背款目前僅由歐洲HUM生產，其外型上有所更動的可能性依然存在。

由於311日本大地震，一度導致HUM的零件供應中斷，使得生產情形十分不理想；但隨著缺乏原物料供應的情況顯著改善，其生產狀況將於今年九月上旬回復到正常的水平；而在零件供應中斷的期間，3000名HUM的員工依然從事各種訓練及前置工作，摩拳擦掌準備迎接新款Civic的到來，預計接下來的六個月將會忙得不可開交。
據了解，第九代HONDA Civic目前已有導入國產化的消息，但確切的時程還不確定，或許有機會於年底台北車展看到雛形；而之前曾為大家報導的HONDA第四代CR-V年底將於北美上市，而歐洲部分則預計於明年秋季上市，但台灣國產化的時程依目前的情況來判斷，可能要等到2012年之後。
