2011年SEMA改裝車展報導：提升潛力大，HONDA Civic Si coupe改裝大軍現身

在已經開幕的2011年SEMA改裝車展當中，未能獲得美國媒體與消費者全面支持的全新第九代美規HONDA Civic Si coupe透過Honda Factory Performance (HFP)原廠性能改裝部門與北美改裝車廠的努力，推出Civic Si coupe系列改裝套件與概念車型。
HONDA早從1980年代便開始透過引進原廠改裝套件，掀起Civic在北美地區的改裝風潮，也正因為其相較於其它豪華房車更為容易入手的價格，加上極大的改裝潛力與動力提升空間，時至今日在北美地區的系列房車賽事甚至是直線加速賽也都可見到歷代Civic的蹤影。
不過針對此次為美規第九代Civic所推出的HFP原廠性能改裝套件，原廠表示僅會在北美市場限量推出500套，套件內容透過跑車化短懸安裝、18吋鋁合金輪圈能夠讓底盤高地減少15mm，結合車身空力套件、高性能煞車系統等，令其性能表現進一步獲得提升，另也有針對參賽推出的賽道版本。
除此之外，包括Bisimoto Engineering、Fox Marketing與Tjin Edition等頗有名氣的改裝車廠也針對美規第九代Civic推出系列改裝套件，相信可令新Civic車主對於改裝感到躍躍欲試。
