    日本名車系列(181):HONDA CR-X del Sol(1992-1997)

於日本泡沫經濟所設計的第三代CR-X,HONDA改變定位要以樂趣和拉風為訴求,所以1992年3月全新第三代CR-X現身後,同時冠上副名del Sol(西班牙語為太陽之意),也就是改採雙座Targa模式。

底盤結構同樣來自第五代Civic的CR-X del Sol,2370mm軸距比Civic的2570mm短了200mm,3995×1695×1255mm車身不若上一代的斜背造型,而是僅具備A、B兩柱設計,就為了能創造獨立的行李廂;此外,CR-X del Sol的最大特色在於採用電動車頂結構(美規版為手動),在Targa敞篷型態時僅須按下開關,收納於行李廂的車頂與行李廂蓋垂直上升,隨後自動水平滑至車頂處,車主只需扣上保險鈕即可,這樣的設計在當時堪稱話題,但也因機械結構增加讓CR-X del Sol車重達1030-1140kg。

內裝設計與Civic的最大差異,除了採用雙桶型賽車座椅設計,中控台與排檔座連成一氣,並經過巧思創造不少置物空間,以彌補車艙空間的不足。

動力則有1.5L(1493cc)SOHC和1.6L(1595cc)DOHC兩具PGM-FI噴射引擎,分別擁有120hp/14.2kgm、170hp/16.0kgm的輸出功率,變速系統則有四速自排與五速手排兩種選擇,前後雙A臂依舊是標準底盤配置;1995年小改款除了取消車頭圓形霧燈,1.5L引擎也擴缸至1.6L,輸出功率提升為130hp/14.1kgm。雖然CR-X del Sol符合年輕消費者的需求,可惜SUV當道且雙門跑車不再獲得青睞,因此在1997年停產,從此CR-X也僅能存在車迷心中。
