    HONDA不想在增壓戰爭中缺席,下一代Fit要渦輪上身!

2013年第二季問世的全新Fit,動力上將搭載由HONDA自行開發的1.0L直列三缸渦輪增壓汽油引擎
從創廠至今超過50年的HONDA,放眼四輪作品鮮少採用渦輪增壓引擎,因為技術本位的HONDA堅持「自然就是美」,但隨著全球Downsizing小排氣量、大輸出功率的趨勢,HONDA也要跟上潮流,因此針對2013年第二季的下一代Fit也將賦予渦輪增壓引擎,除了更具經濟性性能也有所提升。

1982年誕生的City Turbo是HONDA第一款市售渦輪增壓車
如果和其他日本車廠相比,HONDA所開發的渦輪增壓汽油引擎車實在屈指可數,撇開日本660cc輕型車、F1賽車及針對歐洲所開發的柴油車,1982年City Turbo、高級品牌ACURA RDX算是HONDA罕見的渦輪車,至於Civic、Accord、Legend、Integra、NSX、Prelude等這些之名車款則都走高轉速自然進氣路線,一點都和渦輪增壓沾不上邊,因為在HONDA創辦人本田宗一郎的觀念裡,所謂真正的好引擎,根本無須借助任何外力便可創優異性能,因此在TOYOTA、NISSAN、MAZDA等車廠於1980年代熱衷渦輪增壓技術之際,HONDA依舊維持既有作風「頑固又堅持」在自然進氣領域。

然而這樣的堅持恐怕不敵Downsizing大環境趨勢,HONDA勢必要在動力技術上作出改變,否則將不利於市場競爭。

根據AutoNet汽車日報所得到的獨家消息,針對全球一片Downsizing引擎小排氣量、功率大輸出、兼顧環保節能的趨勢,HONDA也提出新因應對策,除了加強Hybrid的開發,和渦輪增壓的組合也是「最佳選擇」,因此第一款Downsizing風潮的產物,將是預計在2013年第二季問世的全新Fit,動力上將搭載由HONDA自行開發的1.0L直列三缸渦輪增壓汽油引擎,仍舊配置i-VTEC可變氣門結構,擁有約105-110hp的馬力輸出,平均油耗高達25.0km/L,比起現行日規Fit 1.3的100hp馬力及24.0km/L油耗都有明顯進步,甚至在性能上直逼1.5L的120hp。這樣的設定在高油價又講求環保時代確實是一大利多,當然也沒有失去既有的性能表現。

至於HONDA投入大量資源的Hybrid科技是否會被取代?應該不會,畢竟Downsizing和Hybrid分屬兩條不同路線,尤其在節能方面更有卓越表現,只是單成本來看渦輪增壓似乎比起電池要來得便宜,所以只要新一代Fit的Downsizing策略奏效,其他車款應該也會陸續跟進,而Hybrid…只要市場大環境有需求,肯定會繼續走下去。
