    HONDA印尼生產CVT,年產能50萬具就為小型車!

專為亞洲市場所開發的戰略車Brio
自從經歷東日本海嘯強震與泰國洪災後,損失慘重的HONDA在最短時間內重新思考全球佈局問題,同時也發表亞洲市場專用的小型車Brio,此外HONDA也決定增加在印尼生產小型車的CVT變速箱計畫,畢竟CVT已經成為一大趨勢,身為技術本位的HONDA自然不能缺席。

為了降低風險和成本,小型車專用CVT變速箱將移往印尼生產
在印尼雅加達郊區、專事車輛組裝生產的HPM(P.T.HONDA Prospect Motor),為HONDA在東南亞地區相當重要的基地,而負責零組件生產的P.T HONDA Prospect Parts Manufacturing,現在更將擴大產能,主要是增加小型車專用CVT變速箱的生產事宜。HONDA之所以決定在印尼生產CVT變速箱,除了因先前飽受天災拖累之苦,影響獲利和正常運作,同時也隨著亞洲戰略車Brio的問世改變策略,將部份主要零組件移往日本以外地區生產,一來可分散風險,二來也可有效降低運輸、勞工等成本,對於HONDA而言無疑是嶄新策略和嘗試。

所以總投資金額約日幣50億圓(約新台幣18.7億元)的小型車專用CVT生產計畫,將從2013年第一季展開,年產能高達50萬具,屆時開始運作後將可和日本濱松廠的產能結合,提供全球HONDA車款的需求。

基本上HONDA車款使用CVT比例,在所有日本車廠中算是相當低,尤其輕型車和小型車也是這幾年才開始擴大使用規模,或許在大環境的刺激下,CVT將會逐步搭載於HONDA車款上。
