    HONDA Beat復活確定,油電齊發2014年捲土重來!

HONDA EV-STER
1991年問世的輕型雙座小跑車Beat,一上市就受到熱烈歡迎,若不是遭逢日本泡沫經濟,誕生五年絕對不會只有3.4萬輛生產規模,如今隨著大環境改變,樂趣取向的平價跑車捲土重來,因此HONDA計畫在2014年推出Beat後繼車,且同時提供汽油引擎和電動馬達兩種動力給消費者選擇。

當初由義大利賓尼法利納操刀的Beat,是HONDA第一輛MR中置引擎後輪驅動作品,在1990年代與SUZUKI Cappuccino、MAZDA AZ-1(SUZUKI Cara)並稱「日本輕跑御三家」,受歡迎的程度可見一斑,搭載656cc直列三缸SOHC高壓縮比自然進氣引擎,配置MTREC(Multi Throttle Responsive Engine Control)系統,能發揮相同排氣量渦輪增壓心臟的64hp/8100rpm、6.1kgm/7000rpm功率,搭配60度夾角前傾五速手排變速箱,而各項儀錶更沿用重型機車理念。車身尺碼為3295×1395×1175mm、軸距僅2280mm的Beat,延續HONDA傳統有著極為刁鑽、靈活的操控特性。然而在泡沫經濟與SUV崛起後,跑車不再受到青睞,Beat也在1996年停產,當然HONDA並沒有停止「敗部復活」的想法,因此在2008年倫敦車展推出OSM概念車,爾後卻因國際原油價格飆漲、全球金融海嘯、日本311強震影響,使得HONDA將計畫喊停。

隨著跑車回溫,HONDA重新啟動Beat後繼車的開發計畫,在2011年東京車展推出一款名為EV-STER概念車,擁有3570×1500×1100mm,動力採用鋰離電池組,最大續航距離160km,極速達160km/h。當然這也被視為Beat正統繼承者。根據AutoNet汽車日報獲得的獨家情報,Beat後繼車確定以EV-STER為基礎,底盤和N BOX、N ONE等輕型車共用,打造出3570×1500×1150mm車身,軸距則是2325mm,動力方面HONDA提出非常大膽的設定,共有汽油引擎和電動馬達兩種選擇,代號P07A的直列三缸DOHC VTEC渦輪增壓引擎,排氣量推測為998cc,擁有90hp/6000rpm、15.0kgm/2000rpm左右的輸出功率;另外電動馬達則延續EV-STER的58kW電池,性能表現幾乎和EV-STER相同。

預計在2014年誕生的新Beat,將於2013年東京車展首度亮相,銷售目標客層鎖定在年輕族群,據說身價從日幣200萬圓起跳,也就是約新台幣75.9萬元,但是這種售價和TOYOTA 86相當,能否成功引起市場共鳴,就看HONDA會端出什麼樣菜出來了!
