    155個月努力有成,HONDA Hybrid車全球累積銷售破百萬輛

雖然和TOYOTA相比,HONDA進入Hybrid領域時間較晚,然而因遵循創辦人本田宗一郎的「純原動機」哲學,幾乎將自然進氣視為聖旨,無論油電複合動力、渦輪增壓等都不在計畫範圍內,但隨著大環境改變,HONDA也跟著趨勢大步前進,開發出不少Hybrid車款,因此歷經12年又11個月的時間,累計在全球銷售100萬輛Hybrid車。

第一代Insight
打從1999年11月第一代Insight誕生以來,HONDA開始投入油電複合動力領域,並開發出Civic Hybrid等車,2005年4月因產品選擇有限,且原油價格尚未大幅飆漲,因此Hybrid產品在全球銷售僅10萬輛,2010年12月因油價為消費者所重視,一問世即造成話題的CR-Z不僅是全球第一輛Hybrid跑車,更隨著Fit Hybrid誕生讓HONDA在Hybrid的總銷售量累積至60萬輛規模,同時在Fit Shuttle Hybrid、Freed Hybrid等加入後,於2012年9月達成100萬輛銷售總量,這段辛苦路HONDA走了155個月。

由HONDA自行開發的Hybrid系統IMA(Integrated Motor Assist),基本上和TOYOTA屬於不同類型結構與運作方式,馬達擔任動力輔助角色,但具有氫輛小型化的特色,所以目前在HONDA的全球產品陣容中,總計有8款車採用IMA系統,並銷售50個國家。其中2012年5月ACURA ILX Hybrid於美國開始生產,這可是HONDA頭一回將Hybrid車款於日本以外製造先例,隨後7月Jazz Hybrid也在泰國、馬來西亞陸續生產。意味HONDA也要開始拓展Hybrid市場。

當然在HONDA的規劃中,IMA系統也將從單一馬達進化到雙馬達,並運用在中型車級距產品,甚至還要推出高性能並配置三馬達的「Sport Hybrid SH-AWD(Super Handling All Wheel Drive)」,且確定搭載於NSX、ACURA RLX、Legend上。
