HR-V後繼有人？HONDA Fit全新衍生車2014年誕生！

有鑑於前幾年過於保守的經營，使得HONDA在產品上逐漸失去既有的熱情，為了找回品牌宗旨，不僅推出大獲好評的N系列，更重新啟動NSX開發計畫，甚至於2013年1月底特律車展也將發表嶄新的跨界概念車，而這可是傳說中Fit衍生SUV的前身，也就是HR-V的真正傳人！

早在2011年AutoNet汽車日報就曾報導有關HONDA CUV（Compact utility vehicle/Crossover utility vehicle）計畫一事，如今隨著原廠將於2013年底特律車展推出「New Urban SUV Concept」概念車得到証實，也就是以下一代Fit（開發代號2WF）為基礎所衍生、開發代號2XP的全新Crossover（HONDA開發小組暱稱SX），其實這也是2006年停產的HR-V後繼車。
根據目前獲得的情報顯示，預計在2014年量產的HR-V後繼車，和新Fit共用2500mm軸距的底盤，尺碼約4100×1695×1650mm，由於尺碼比起CR-V更小、故定位上屬於CUV級距，不過仍能創造雙排五座的車艙空間，配備方面比照Fit、Civic、CR-V的設定，一切以簡單人性化又舒適為主要訴求。
動力部分，將搭載1.5L（1496cc）直列四缸VTEC汽油引擎，同時導入直噴系統，預估獲得120hp/15.0kgm功率，另外還有一套和Fit Hybrid相同的心臟，馬力輸出115hp/6000rpm+20hp，據說平均油耗可達34.0km/L；變速系統共提供五速手排、五速自排及CVT無段自排變速箱三種搭配，前驅和四驅兩種模式。
所以在2013年底特律車展以概念車身分問世後，量產版本最快將在同年的法蘭克福或者東京車展發表，掛上HR-V之名可能性非常高。2014年量產後的HR-V除了在日本寄居廠生產，墨西哥、巴西、印尼、中國也列入生產基地，預計月產量分別為7000輛（日本）、8000輛（墨西哥+巴西）、1200輛（印尼）、6700輛（中國），並依照市場需求提供給歐洲與美國等地。而台灣是否也會導入？推測可能性非常低，畢竟已經有了CR-V何必再來個HR-V來湊熱鬧呢？
