    HONDA Civic Type R開發確定,目標成為全球最速FF車!

隨著2013年日內瓦車展的開幕,不少車廠磨刀霍霍紛紛端上美味牛肉來吸引目光焦點,當然也有車廠在這場合公告重大訊息,像HONDA除了發表Civic旅行概念車和新動力系科技,更正式表態新一代Civic Type R的開發,將以全球最速FF車為目標!

目前紐柏林賽道全球最速FF車紀錄保持者為RENAULT Megan R.S. Trophy
早在1997年以第六代Civic為基礎所開發的Type R,正式開啟HONDA的R傳奇,當初動力為1.6L VTEC自然進氣引擎,可爆發185hp馬力在當時可是造成話題;第二代於2001年發表,排氣量從1.6L增加為2.0L,馬力更一舉突破200hp來到215hp,2007年的第三代共有日規四門版(225hp)與歐規三門版(201hp)兩種選擇。而從現階段的情報顯示,預計2014年量產的第四代Civic Type R是以歐洲為主要市場,故將採用三門掀背,基礎架構在歐規Civic上,但會增加標準的紅底廠徽、大型後尾翼、空力套件、白色鋁合金輪圈、紅色桶型座椅、手工鍛造排檔桿頭等。

此外,為了成為全球最速FF車,並同時達到節能效果,新一代Civic Type R將搭載代號AP3的2.0L直列四缸直噴引擎,且和渦輪增壓組合,推測最大馬力輸出約在300hp。而目前在德國紐柏林賽道創造全球最速FF紀錄,為2011年6月RENAULT Megan R.S. Trophy的8分7秒97,至今依然無車能破,因此HONDA開發下一代Civic Type R,就是以超越RENAULT Megan R.S. Trophy的紀錄為目標。只是FF車的性能如此強勁,對駕駛人來說沒有一定水準的功力肯定很難駕馭,畢竟整個動力輸出都集中在前方,故將會加裝LSD限滑差速器,並針對底盤和懸吊、轉向系統重新設定,以提升操控和便利實用性。
ROVER 220 Coupe Turbo雖然性能驚人卻難以駕馭

其實過去HONDA也曾經開發出性能驚人的FF車,但不是掛上H廠徽,而是1992年在巴黎車展發表的ROVER 200 Coupe車系,表面上為英國車,實際上底盤結構是以HONDA Concerto為基礎,動力分為自然進氣(HONDA D系列)和渦輪增壓(ROVER T系列)兩種,其中渦輪增壓馬力高達200hp,又是FF設定,於當時有著最難駕馭雙門跑車的稱號,不過這是ROVER的創作和HONDA無關。相信時隔20年後在技術和科技的進步下,HONDA工程團隊應該會克服所有問題,以打造出稱霸紐柏林賽道的新Civic Type R!
