    電池冷卻系統小型化,HONDA下一世代Hybrid車經濟性升級有望

對於現代的所有車輛來說,只要電池故障就等同於停擺,尤其是強調節能環保的Hybrid產品,對於電池的運作環境更是有著高標準,只要一過熱肯定會影響性能,然而要在有限的空間中擺入冷卻系統,這對工程師來說無疑是一大考驗,不過向來以技術聞名的HONDA倒是有了解決方案,那就是藉由冷卻系統小型化來提高電池效能,以達到卓越的經濟性。

隨著新一代Earth Dream引擎的問世以及獨家開發IMA系統,HONDA的Hybrid之路似乎越走越順,當然HONDA也沒有因此停下腳步,反而是朝下一步繼續前進,根據AutoNet汽車日報了解,由於未來HONDA將陸續推出1-3個馬達的Plug-In Hybrid車款,為了讓鋰電池能獲得最佳冷卻效果,以達到最大功率和效能,HONDA決定從鋰電池冷卻系統著手,也就是開發體積更小且更輕量的新系統,不僅可裝載於狹小有限空間,更在減重與高效能雙管並進下,讓Hybrid車的性能和油耗表現更優異。

所以在HONDA的規劃下,不僅從車體設計下手以導入更多空氣至電池,同時也將縮小冷卻系統中風扇的體積,並減輕重量,另外馬達啟閉的時間和程式也重新改寫,希望經過長時間測試達到最佳化。預計在這樣的改變下,將可改善由號表現,推測應該有3-5﹪左右的成效。

當然在冷卻系統小型化後,電池的設計也更為多元化,同時亦能有效縮小使用容積,這對車艙空間的擴大、便利性的提升都有明顯幫助。至於這套新系統何時會問世?推測應該會率先應用在即將問世的下一代Fit Hybrid上,然後就是新世代Insight甚至NSX,相信不用多久這種改變將會完全展現在經濟數據,這對消費者來說無疑是好事一樁。
