沒有Plug-in，HONDA Accord Hybrid美國10月上市

當HONDA全新第9代Accord於去年9月於美國市場發表之際，當中最為引人注目的車款、莫過於搭載了Plug-in Hybrid插電式油電複合動力的Accord PHV，不過在成本及技術等層面尚未完全成熟的情況下，HONDA決定還是讓Accord Hybrid先行上市。
在外觀方面與傳統動力車型較為類似、並未像Accord PHV那般大膽的Accord Hybrid，主要在水箱罩橫柵加入LED光條，同時頭燈組也採淡藍色式樣，加上獨特的鋁圈造型，藉由這些特徵讓人仍可簡單分辨出是否為Hybrid車型；在內裝部份除了油電車型專屬的動力傳輸顯示幕外，其餘部分則與一般車型大同小異，而包括打孔電動皮椅、i-MID東功能顯示幕、多角度停車輔助攝影機等也都列於配備清單當中。
至於在動力部份，Accord Hybrid搭載排氣量為2.0L的Atkinson-cycle直列四缸i-VTEC汽油引擎，搭配上可輸出達124kW（約166hp）功率的強力電動馬達，在美國EPA規範下有著市區20.73km/L、高速19.04km/L及平均19.88km/L的油耗表現。而根據美國HONDA表示、Accord Hybrid計畫將於今年10月在美國市場開始販售，包括詳細動力規格與報價等資訊、屆時也會一併公佈。
