東洋法拉利再現，ACURA NSX原型車於Mid-Ohio Indy 200賽事中亮相

先前AutoNet曾多次為讀者介紹過，相信不少較資深的車迷都還記得，HONDA在1989年芝加哥車展及東京車展中亮相的NSX，源自於1984年由Pininfarin操刀的HP-X概念車，將目標對手設定為FERRARI 348的NSX、其車名涵義即為New Sportscar eXperimental，因此更找來F1車手Ayrton Senna及中嶋悟參與開發，而在正式推出後其頂尖的操控實力、更贏得了「東洋法拉利」的暱稱。
不過在初代NSX在2005年停產之後，因為遭逢全球性的金融海嘯、讓這輛經典跑車後繼車款的出現可說是遙遙無期，但隨著現任社長伊東孝紳上台，在重新找回「本田魂」的理念之下，NSX的復活也就成了勢在必行的事，並於2012年底特律車展及日內瓦車展中、以分別掛上ACURA及HONDA廠徽的NSX Concept進行展現，隨著在2013年底特律車展中再度推出了ACURA NSX Concept II，預告新世代NSX的問世就在不久的將來。
而不久前ACURA在自家的Facebook粉絲團中，不僅公佈了新NSX原型車款的測試照，並預告將在8月4日下午3點（美東日光時間）開跑的Mid-Ohio Indy 200賽事中亮相，並會實際於賽道繞場一圈，如今新世代NSX公開在車迷面前亮相的模樣也終於出爐。
這款新世代NSX的動力系統部分，目前僅確定將採用中置引擎、搭載全新開發Hybrid油電複合動力系統，以一具新世代3.5L i-VTEC V6引擎搭配渦輪增壓與三具電動馬達的加持下，最高動力輸出將上看550hp的水準，搭配七速或九速雙離合器變速箱，並且具備SH-AWD（Super Handling All-Wheel-Drive）四輪驅動系統。
事實上，HONDA在先前早已宣佈，全新NSX將會由原廠位於美國俄亥俄州Raymond地區的設計中心主導開發，另外今年五月份時，HONDA也宣佈將斥資70億美元在俄亥俄Marysville地區建造名為Performance Manufacturing Center的生產基地，屆時新一代NSX也會在此地進行量產的工作。
