瞄準改裝市場，HONDA Civic Si Coupe會是重譜本田魂的序曲？

HONDA Civic可說是日系車款中相當經典的車型，尤其是HONDA以駕馭快感為宗特性，讓Civic曾在年輕消費者族群中擁有極高的人氣，這點不只在國外，即便是台灣，依舊有許多車迷為舊款Civic痴狂；但過去幾年，隨著HONDA原廠的路線改變，使得市場上出現不少Civic、甚至是整個HONDA已經走味的聲音，不過隨著伊東孝紳掌握大權之後，確實已經開始將HONDA的品牌定位，導回原本充滿熱情與樂趣，並富涵賽車基因的形象。
除了一開始確定NSX將會重生之外，更將與McLAREN再續前緣，從2015年開始重新回到F1的戰場，這一步步都是想要熱車迷們重新回憶起HONDA所帶來的熱血感受；而在市場方面，HONDA原廠則是打算讓小改款後的Civic Si Coupe運動化雙門車型在即將開幕的北美SEAM改裝車展當中登場。
相信對於HONDA來說，選擇在SEAM改裝車展發表小改款Civic Si Coupe，也有向車迷們宣示，「HONDA回來了」的意味，畢竟過去Civic之所以受到歡迎，一方面也是因為擁有相當高的改裝空間與性能提升的彈性。
而小改款車型在外觀方面，導入了重新設計的燻黑尾燈組、後保桿及保桿下方分流器更添許多侵略性，另外為了能更具操控穩定性也提供更具下壓力道的大型擾流尾翼；至於在動力方面將搭載2.4L i-VTEC直四引擎並搭載密齒比6速手排變速箱，除了能爆發201hp最大馬力之外，扭力輸出也可達23.5kgm的水準，並可望搭載新式螺旋式限滑差速器。
不過話說回來，在Civic偏向大眾化這幾年，同級距戰場當中多了許多實力相當強勁的競爭者，例如以台灣來說，像是Mazda3與HYUNDAI Elantra都是這幾年相當受到歡迎的車款，而HONDA在回歸本位之後，能不能將流失的車迷找回來，就得看未來的長時間觀察了。
