2013 SEMA改裝車展報導：更濃郁的性能風味，美規HONDA Civic Coupe再度變臉

已經邁入第九個世代的HONDA Civic，由於HONDA原廠保守的走向，讓美規車型在剛推出後，就在車迷之間掀起了激烈的論戰，但基本上是負面的評價較多；在現任總裁伊東孝紳上任後，原廠便針對九代Civic的外觀以及細部底盤設定進行了重新設計與調校，可說是贏回了不少的肯定；而在近日開幕的SEMA北美改裝車展當中，HONDA則是發表了外觀再度更新的Civic Coupe與Civic Si Coupe。
外觀最大的改變，就是在車頭的部分，原廠針對Civic Coupe的飛翼式水箱護罩進行視覺強化，新的一體式水箱護罩更具有運動化的風格，而前保桿的造型也有所改變，三口式的下氣壩設計讓Civic Coupe整體的面容更具有戰鬥氣息，車尾則是利用後保桿兩側的線條刻劃，讓整體看來更為動感。
至於Civic Si Coupe，雖然水箱護罩仍舊採用蜂巢式格柵，但重新設計過後，卻擁有更濃郁的性能風味，前保桿下氣壩則是同樣採用網狀格柵以及三口式設計，車尾的部分也同樣多了增添動感的線條刻劃，並且加裝了下導流板，另外在水箱護罩與車尾上，都有專屬的Si字樣金屬飾徽，同時車尾也加裝了後擾流尾翼，並搭配專屬18吋五輻式鋁圈。
而Civic Si身為車系當中的性能化車型，原廠也針對動力系統進行重新的調校，其2.4L i-VTEC直四引擎的馬力與扭力輸出，均獲得了小幅度的提升，其中最大馬力提升4hp來到205hp，峰值扭力也上升了0.5kgm，來到將近24.0kgm的水準；不過原廠尚未公佈內裝以及底盤設定是否也跟著改變，但HONDA已經宣佈將會在即將來臨的洛杉磯車展當中公佈進一步的規格細節。
