    HONDA科技巡禮(5):母雞帶小雞MC-β全球首試,安全環保又聽話!

一直以來自動駕駛可是車廠的最大夢想,也是科幻作品中最為人羨慕的玩意,不過在日本HONDA的努力下,自動駕駛已經不再是夢想,甚至手機或平板電腦還能變成遙控器,只要按下個按鍵便會自動停好車。


早在1800年代就有美國科幻小說家提出機器人取代馬匹來拉車的構想,只是這些機器人是以蒸氣為動力,經過200年的進化,HONDA將機器人的腦袋縮小為一塊小晶片,動力為改以吃電的馬達,雙腿則變成四個橡膠輪胎,機器人所拉的車廂變成縱置雙座,而且藉由紅外線和攝影機等偵測,達到自動停車/出車、跟車等駕駛模式,這就是最新研發的新世代都會電動車MC-β。








在HONDA的Earth Dreams科技框架下,智慧電動車也是其中的一環、外觀未來感十足、宛如小型高爾夫球車的MC-β,具有2495×1280×1545mm的尺碼,最小迴轉半徑只有3.3m,車艙採用縱置雙座「offset seat」的偏位設計,提供後作乘員更好的視野;管狀車架來自HONDA機車技術,搭配塑料鈑件的採用,使MC-β擁有優異的車身強度,400kg車重堪稱輕量級。基於是以都會短程通勤移動為前提所打造,動力搭載定速8.1hp、瞬間最大15.0hp的馬達,極速為70km/h以上,續航力約80km,以100V充電可在7小時完成,如是200V則3小時內就可充飽。實際試駕發現MC-β很好開,非常適合如東京、台北這種地小人稠路窄的交通狀況,加速性比起一般電動車更快,甚至高速時還會發出如噴射機細柔高亢的聲浪,原以為高頂設計在過彎時會不穩,但底盤懸吊設定的功力果真了得,約50km/h可完成小彎,進入狹小道路因寬度僅不到1.3m,輕輕鬆鬆就過關。但中置座椅的設計有些不習慣,只要稍花點時間就能適應。


不過這些規格並非MC-β的強項,因為MC-β還有一個孿生兄弟車,但造型卻更有味道的「Remote Drive」,除了動力、車艙都相同,最為人注意的就在可以自動停車、出車和跟車。這套系統藉由攝影機與紅外線偵測,是為了解決都會停車問題所提出的方案,利用計有的電腦、通訊、藍牙、無線等技術,以平板電腦當作遙控器,只需按下功能鍵車輛便會自行停入狹小停車空間,也可從停車格出車;此外,位於車頭的攝影機會針對前車進行偵測,在鎖定好距離後只要前車行進便會跟著前進,無論直線或轉彎都跟得好好地,就如母雞帶小雞一樣。





無論是MC-β還是「Remote Drive」,都顯示出HONDA在21世紀都擁有前瞻的眼光,當然在遵循本田宗一郎精神的大原則下,完全將「夢」與「人」緊密結合,尤其是零污染、自動駕駛的層面,更MC-β和「Remote Drive」上,以這兩款車的成熟度來看,只要用車的大環境改變,勢必能在最短時間內上線,並創造人類行動的新紀元。
