    每況愈下的銷售成績,HONDA Insight 去留成了原廠最頭痛的問題

HONDA Insight
自2009年問世的第2代HONDA Insight,因為剛好趕上伊拉克戰爭,原油價格飆漲的時空背景,也是原廠寄予厚望,期望拿來與TOYOTA Prius一起競爭綠能市場的重點車款,然而在動力上與Prius相距甚大,而且後來HONDA發表了價格更平易近人的Fit Hybrid使然,在市場定位互相重疊的狀況下,絮亂的產品線使得Insight在銷售表現上更是雪上加霜,如今卻成了HONDA眼中燙手的山芋。

在實際的銷售量上,在上個月,也就是2013年11月的北美市場銷售統計裡,HONDA Insight僅繳出了4,384輛的銷售成績,除了較TOYOTA Prius在同一期間所賣出的135,291相差了超過30倍之多,更不用說賣輸定位在更小的Prius C(2013年11月的整體銷售成績為39,169輛),在如此慘淡的銷售紅字之下,這也讓眾多的國外媒體間傳言是否Insight就此面臨停產命運?

其實早在2010年底時HONDA就有傳出關於新世代Insight的開發訊息,當時所掌握的訊息是,新世代車型預計將在2013年第三季問世,並重新配置了新的底盤結構和車體設計,同時外觀造型也更符合空氣力學;動力部份也將升級成為全新開發的AP2 1.5L直列4缸引擎,並擁有高達13.5:1的壓縮比,油耗表現更是以40.0km/L為挑戰目標,不過在HONDA審慎評估後發現除了在銷售量上不敵TOYOTA Prius之外,消費大眾對於Fit Hybrid接受度更大,也使得在第三代Insight的開發上面臨著前所未見的陰影。

然而HONDA在今年發表第3代Fit之後,在日本市場的累計訂單便一舉超過了8萬張,其中具有環保節能的Fit Hybrid的訂單就高達5.7萬張,在市場一片叫好之下替HONDA挽回逐漸萎縮的銷售失土,更有逐漸取代Insight的氣勢,至於未來Insight是否將會有新世代車型,或是就此沒入歷史的洪流之中,就得要看HONDA高層的思維了!
