印度市場開賣，全新第四代HONDA City備受各界矚目

2013年11月底印度HONDA發表全新第四代City，這款針對新興市場開發的小型房車，其底盤平台源自於現行第三代Fit而來，並且還另外衍生出一款小型跨界休旅Vezel。而這三輛車（City、Fit、Vezel）都是HONDA未來在都會車上的銷售主力。而剛結束的2014台北車展HONDA TAIWAN也特地引進全新City來試探水溫，未來有望重返台灣市場銷售。
至於最先發表的印度地區則是在2014年1月7日開賣，因此更多詳細的資料也全面釋出，車身尺碼同先前發表會時所公佈的資料，為4440×1695×1495mm軸距2600mm。車身總重為1029kg（柴油為1125kg）。懸吊系統則為前麥弗遜、後扭力樑的設計，輪胎尺碼配置175/65 R15，最小迴轉半徑則是5.3m。
動力方面i-VTEC汽油引擎採排氣量1497c.c.直列四缸、16氣門的設計，輔以SOHC單凸輪軸以及i-VTEC可變正時氣門技術，可輸出119hp/6600rpm最大馬力與14.7kgm/4600rpm的峰值扭力輸出，並提供五速手排以及CVT無段變速系統可選。依據印度HONDA顯示的City最佳油耗表現為17.8km/L，CVT車型則為18.0km/L。
至於另外一具讓各市場相當矚目的柴油渦輪引擎，則為直列四缸、排氣量1498c.c.、16氣門、雙凸輪軸DOHC、i-DTEC技術的設計，可輸出100hp/3600rpm最大馬力與20.4kgm/1750rpm峰值扭力輸出。傳輸系統則僅有6速手排可用，油耗表現則為26.0km/L。若以City的40L油箱容量來計算，最遠續航力則有近1040km的表現。
在內裝方面全新City延續第九代Civic的設計基調，利用大面積金屬飾板來顯現科技氛圍。高階車型提供真皮方向盤、皮革座椅、Start啟動按鈕、定速巡航、多功能三環式儀表、手機免持裝置、10吋多功能顯示螢幕、倒車顯影等功能。音響則多方支援AUX-IN、USB、i-Pod/i-Phone、AM/FM收音機、MP3/WMA/AAC等音源規格。
在安全配備上印度市場的City全車系皆提供駕駛座防護氣囊，高階車款則將前乘客座防護氣囊列為標配，不過相信在其它市場應該會把雙前座氣囊列為標準配備才是。其它像ACE高剛性車體結構、EBD制動力分配系統、ABS防鎖定煞車系統、頭枕防護等，皆列為City在印度市場的標準配備。
最後，全新City在印度市場因為城市不同所以在定價上也有所差異，以印度知名城市德里（Delhi）為例，City搭載1.5L i-VTEC汽油引擎最基本的車型從74.2萬盧比（約新台幣36.1萬元）起跳，CVT車型則要價94.4萬盧比（約新台幣45.9萬元）。i-DTEC柴油渦輪引擎車型為40.2萬盧比（約新台幣36.1萬元）起跳，最高階為111.0萬盧比（約新台幣54.0萬元）。
