小改添銷售實力，新年式美規HONDA Civic Hybrid、Civic Natural Gas發表

即便現行汽車市場仍以燃油引擎為銷售主力，但日益興起的Hybrid複合動力以及Electric純電動車也是不容忽視。2012年底美國洛杉磯車展發表的小改款Civic，除了常規動力車型外亦提供Civic Hybrid以及Civic Natural Gas（天然氣）等版本，現在順應各車廠對節能車款的銷售重視，美國HONDA在日前也推出新年式車型。

為了讓車主能更喜歡駕駛節能車款，美國HONDA在新年式Civic Hybrid、Civic Natural Gas上增加新一代HONDALink™連接系統和7吋多功能觸碰顯示螢幕等便捷設備，可以利用智慧型手機連結系統進行通話、查詢、導航等功能，甚至天氣概況、交通、觀看訊息的雲端平台服務，也都可以在HONDALink™上進行，給予駕駛更多連外資訊的更新。

動力方面新年式Civic Hybrid仍搭載原本的排氣量1.5L i-VTEC直四引擎，搭配最新IMA輕量化整合電動馬達輔助系統（Integrated Motor Assist）與鋰離子電池模組，共可輸出馬力110hp、扭力17.5kgm的表現，加上CVT無段變速系統的傳輸下平均油耗可達19.0km/L，並將Engine Starting按鈕與免鑰匙啟動系統列為標準配備。

至於Civic Natural Gas也維持原本排氣量1.8L i-VTEC直四引擎的配置設定，在可輸出113hp最大馬力以及15.0kgm峰值扭力輸出的表現，搭配五速自排變速變速系統後具備13.1km/L的平均油耗成績。另外，新年式Civic Natural Gas也增加更實用的座椅加熱系統（前排）、加熱後視鏡、真皮座椅、六喇叭音響系統等舒適取向配備，來吸引消費者選購。

最後，美國新年式Civic Hybrid的建議售價從24635美元（約新台幣74.7萬元）起跳，Civic Natural Gas為26640美元（約新台幣80.8萬元）起，並在發表後開始販售（2014年2月5日），至於Civic Natural Gas可能是因為天然氣的供應問題，目前在美國地區只有37個州有販售（美國共有50州），並在2月15日開賣。
