一年一度英國的Goodwood Festival of Speed速度節已經成為車迷們大飽眼福的天堂之地，在這裡除了有不少靜態展示車輛外，因為無限制車種參加所以在此活動上還可以看到許多難以見得的車款，如古董車、稀有跑車、廠車或賽車等，這次2014年的活動時間則是定在6月27日到29日。而日前來自日本的HONDA已經先敲響第一個佳音。

HONDA表示2014年的Goodwood Festival of Speed將會送來NSX原型車，且不只有靜態觀賞還有Goodwood賽道的動態爬坡展示。相信在2012年底特律車展HONDA在美國採ACURA之名發表NSX Concept概念車後，不少就已經在期待HONDA重返跑車之列的那刻，原廠甚至敲定新世代NSX將在2015年問市。

相隔近9年在2005年7月HONDA觀察各地銷量後決定停止生產NSX，最後一輛車則是在2006年夏天販售出去。因此年輕一點車迷們對於NSX的印象可能較為模糊，但其實自NSX於1990年量產以來，在1993年原廠就提供10輛車前往Goodwood Festival of Speed展示，讓英國民眾進一步欣賞並了解這輛來自日本的跑車。

20年過去了，新世代NSX即將帶著更新的動力技術，以及嶄新的外貌再度踏上英國知名汽車活動。面對歐洲市場各款跑車的紛爭NSX一點也不畏懼，即便新車仍採原本中置引擎的設計，但引擎卻已經更換成V6雙渦輪直噴，搭配三具電動馬達後成為SH-AWD四輪傳動系統，也就是Super Handling All-Wheel Drive，展現出HONDA最新動力科技的成果。
