2014北京車展報導：預覽五門掀背級距，HONDA Concept B專為中國年輕族群而生

HONDA與中國合資的東風本田以及廣汽本田早在開展前就已經公布了本屆北京車展的參展陣容，並且表示將展出一款專為中國市場設計的全球首演概念車，如今隨著車展開幕，這款神秘的概念車也終於以「Concept B」之名亮相。
從概念車這樣的命名邏輯看來，2012年北京車展HONDA分別與兩個中國合資夥伴推出了Concept C及Concept S，也就是2013年上海車展發表、專為中國市場開發的中型轎車凌派Crider與旅行車JADE杰德，均在中國市場獲得不錯的評價，如今對照Concept B呈現出時下流行的五門掀背車型，確實又是近年來HONDA持續深耕的中國年輕消費者。
儘管原廠對於詳細車身尺碼尚未公開，但透過實車圖片看來與凌派Crider（4650×1750×1505mm）相近，同屬中型房車範疇，但車型上再以時下年輕人相當喜愛的五門掀背為主，擁有更便利的實用性及如同轎跑般的斜背設計，一體成形的LED頭燈與水箱護罩，導入了「Exciting H grille」的進氣格柵，並且以多折角的線條設計，不只擁有更佳的空氣力學，同時也營造出俐落的造型。
移動到車側，Concept B擁有一道相當顯著的上揚曲線，而且B柱採隱藏式處理，創造出如同戰鬥機駕駛艙的視覺特色，大尺碼的輪胎組搭配如同鋒刃般的鋁圈造型，都讓人過目難忘，不過最特別的莫過於超級迷你的電子後視鏡，當然這樣的概念化設計，很可能在量產車上就會被移除。
車尾部分，最吸引目光的相信是劃過車尾、一體成形的雙邊C型尾燈，與C型排氣尾管相互輝映，而設計於後窗上的小型擾流尾翼，增添了幾分性能氣勢，至於動力系統即便原廠並未公開，但車尾的FUNTEC Hybrid複合動力鉻牌卻透露了一切，推測動力可能以一具1.5L直四汽油引擎他配電動馬達、電池組。至於量產上市的時間，按照過往Concept C及Concept S的實例看來，預計2015年就能看到量產版本，並在同年底上市。
