2014北京車展報導：融合自家設計精隨，HONDA Spirior Concept揭示下一代旗艦雛形

為了能夠擴及各個國家與消費市場，HONDA於第8代的Accord開始便以多樣化的空間配置於不同市場中現身，而Spirior便是Accord車系於中國市場的一個分支；而在今年的北京車展中，除了Concept B五門掀背概念車外，於展場的另一邊更展示著下一代車款的雛型概念。
以Spirior的名字或許較為陌生，但與其採用相同平台的便是HONDA歐規Accord和高級子品牌ACURA旗下的中型房車TSX，然而在TSX與TL進行合併後，作為貼牌的雙生車種也正同步的進行改款作業，當然在Spirior Concept的外觀設計語彙來看，確實很多部分都融合了新一代TXL的精隨所在，包含在車頭兩側各4顆水晶切割的Jewel-Eye全LED頭燈組、肌肉化的保桿造型和大量LED組成的近氣壩霧燈組，充分的展現HONDA品牌所訴求的熱血車格。
在車側以及車尾的部份也可看到與TXL（尤其是今年底特律車展發表的原型車）雷同的設計概念，包含更加高聳、更為流線飽滿的身型和微微上翹的的鴨尾設計，並於窗框、車門下緣一直到車尾、尾廂門、排氣尾飾管輔以鍍鉻金屬材質進行額外的鋪陳，造就出科技與豪華兼具的高質感氛圍。
雖然無法真正的一賭Spirior Concept在內裝上的質感表現，但HONDA表示此車未來將會於今年11月時與中國當地合資企業－東風本田共同發表，而在未來新世代的Spirior中將會為持現行的2.0L、2.4L兩款直列4缸i-VTEC引擎，變速箱的部份則進化為8速DCT雙離合器變速箱，預料在加速及油耗上都能夠獲得顯著的改善。
