強化二輪生產事業全球佈局，HONDA越南第三工廠正式啟用

由於過去受到金融海嘯、天災等衝擊，近來也飽受因氣囊造成的召回之苦，近來HONDA在四輪領域的發展似乎狀況連連，所幸在二輪事業的成績斐然，甚至強化在全球的佈局，其中於越南投資興建的第三座工廠也在日前正式啟動，估計未來將可提供當地與其他市場的需求，並有效提升整體的佔有率。
這幾年似乎不少企業更積極在東協佈局，主要是中國的生產成本越來越高，且東協多與其他市場簽定自由貿易協定，同時也位居運輸上的樞紐，更具有驚人的消費經濟潛力，因此紛紛將生產基地移往東協，日前由Honda Motor Co., Ltd.（42%）、Asian HONDAMotor Co., Ltd.（28%）、(Vietnam Engine Agricultural Machinery Corporation（30%）共同出資於1996年成立的HVN（HONDA Vietnam Co., Ltd.），為專事生產與販售HONDA旗下汽機車的公司，更正式啟動全新二輪生產基地，接下來將可擴大全球銷售規模。
總投資金額高達美金1.2億元（約合新台幣36億元）的二輪新廠，位於河內南方約40公里的Ha Nam省Dong Van II工業區，總佔地27萬平方公尺，總年產能可達50萬台，其中速克達的生產速度為每天1000台。同時在新廠完工後，將可替當地創造1400個就業機會。此外第三工廠擁有最佳的環境，利用風、自然光、水等天然資源達到環保節能效果，同時焊接、塗裝、組裝等過程也都是HONDA二輪最新技術得精華所在，嚴格來說這間新生產基地為目前HONDA最先進的工廠。
從1997年開始生產以來，HVN累計已經製造超過1500萬台的機車，2014年HONDA在越南市場佔有率更達七成，如今在第三工廠正式啟用後，除了可滿足當地市場的需求，更將外銷到世界其他各國，這意味接下來將有助於HONDA拓展全球市場。
