    撞出五顆星!HONDA Fit獲得NHTSA測試最高評價

第三世代HONDA Fit終在去年於國內發表,雖然比日本及其他地區晚了不少,但終究是趕上了世界潮流,但在過去Fit的安全性問題,一直是媒體的注目焦點,現在全新第三代Fit也在NHTSA的撞擊測試中得到最高的五星評價,為自己的安全性做了最佳保證。

基本上與Fit相同級距的小車多以經濟、節能為取向,因此在車輛的打造材質上便有所保留,加上小型車在空間的使用上限制本就較多,因此預留的潰縮空間也較小,造成小車在安全性上本就較吃虧,但是,這絕對不是安全性差的藉口,畢竟安全性才應該是車廠在設計、打造產品時,最應該優先考量的重點才是。

過去HONDA旗下的小型掀背房車Fit在安全性測試上獲得的成績不慎理想,但經過去年重新設計後,透過車身結構的修正,及許多被動性安全性系統的加入,大幅提升了車輛的安全性表現,更在IIHS和NHTSA兩個不同單位的測試中均獲得最高評價。對此HONDA則表示:「即便是小型車,也不需要為了空間而犧牲舒適及安全性。」同時也展示HONDA在產品安全性上的技術。

據悉,全新第三代Fit能擁有如此優異的撞擊測試成績,與品牌全新的ACE車身結構脫不了關係,VSA車身穩定等系統當然也有一定的功勞,但除上述系統之外,車輛所擁有的被動式安全性系統(在此指氣囊)也有超越同級的表現,甚至在高階車款中具有車輛翻滾感應器,使其即使在非遭遇碰撞的情況下,仍能觸動氣囊,提升乘客生還及安全性。

雖然過去Fit便曾經在IIHS中獲得Top Safety Pick的評價,但NHTSA過去時常與IIHS不同調,並且時常出現結果迥異的測試,因此這次能同時在兩個不同受測單位中,都獲得最高評價,才真正是為車輛安全性做了最大的背書。
