    終擋不了渦輪風潮!ACURA將使用VTEC Turbo技術發展ILX高性能版本

隨著地球資源逐漸匱乏,我們只能物盡其用,試圖將有限的資源發揮出最大的功用,秉持著這個概念,各家車廠也大量運用渦輪增壓技術,在相對較小的排氣量下,發揮出最大的效能,同時兼具一定的節能經濟性以及優異的排污表現,而一向堅持自然進氣引擎的日系車廠HONDA,現在也打算在新一代產品中導入渦輪增壓技術。

過去在九零年代時,日系車廠便掌握了先進的渦輪增壓技術,甚至超越當時的歐系車廠,雖然後來因故無法繼續鑽研,轉而向油電混合科技發展。但在當時一片性能車就是要使用渦輪引擎的風潮中,HONDA便相當堅持於發展自然進氣引擎,無所不用其極的壓榨有限排氣量的最大動力。隨著時代及科技逐漸進步,HONDA雖然也走向油電混合動力一途,但仍不忘初衷,堅持發展自然進氣引擎。

不過坦白說,為顧及耐用性,在一般市售量產車中,不太適合使用太過極端的方式壓榨引擎動力,也使自然進氣引擎的發展受限,加上渦輪增壓系統愈來愈進步,HONDA也不再堅持,以品牌旗下最自豪的VTEC技術,結合渦輪增壓系統,發展出最新的VTEC Turbo技術。而根據品牌目前所釋出的資料顯示,HONDA有意將這項技術大量應用在新一代產品上,除了最新一代的Civic Type-R之外,也打算在子品牌AUCRA的產品中,使用這項技術。

ACURA打算在旗下產品ILX中使用VTEC Turbo引擎,發展出高性能版本的ILX,據了解,高性能版本的ILX將會擁有300hp以上的動力輸出,但不幸的的,若要以現行ILX搭載渦輪增壓引擎,必須相當大幅度的改變,因此想看到高性能版的ILX,至少要等到下一個世代ILX才有機會一虧其神秘面紗。
