    千呼萬喚本田魂,HONDA S660 Type-R、S1000量產確認

於4月初在日本正式發表的HONDA S660,是HONDA繼NSX、Civic Type-R之後再度回歸操控本色的力作,嬌小的車身搭配MR中置引擎設定,雖然在日本當地屬於K Car級距讓S660馬力輸出並不驚人,但輕巧的車重卻也吸引不少玩家青睞,上市短短幾天之內便累積超過5200張訂單。

早在S660正式發表前便曾經有傳言指出這款樂趣小跑車將會推出海外版本,如今這項消息經過證實,且除了被稱為S1000的海外版本之外,Type-R頂級性能車型更是讓S660這個中置引擎小跑車更具看頭。據了解在日本以外的市場S660將會改搭載排氣量1000c.c.的渦輪增壓VTEC引擎,馬力輸出上看127hp比起S660的63hp成長兩倍以上,勢必讓整體性能表現與操駕樂趣大幅提升。屆時這款S1000將有機會行銷歐洲、亞太區,成為MAZDA MX-5的頭號勁敵,至於美國市場則因為S1000車身與排氣量都太過迷你,因而對美國市場持保留態度。

為了對應S1000大幅提升的動力與海外市場所需的安全規範,現有3395×1475×1180mm、軸距2285mm的車身尺碼將會有所提升,車寬方面將會加寬200mm、車長則延長150mm,以對應127hp的最大馬力。當然了在車身尺碼放大並針對結構進行強化後,整體車重將很難保持在900kg以下,但相信在HONDA精湛的工程團隊努力下,S1000所增加的車重將會被提升兩倍的動力給抵消,展現超越S660的駕馭樂趣。

至於S660 Type-R的出現則可能僅限於日本國內市場,將原本的660c.c.動力進行小幅提升,使其來到100hp上下,但由於日本的K Car規範有63hp最大馬力上限,因此S660 Type-R將不會懸掛象徵K Car的黃色車牌,而可能採用限量的模式懸掛一般車牌。當然了對於日本市場以外的國家來說,比起S660 Type-R當然是動力較大的S1000較為吸引人,據信S1000將有機會在2016年底正式發表,屆時在操控樂趣上將不免與MAZDA MX-5有一番龍爭虎鬥。
