本田飛行大夢成真，HONDA JET飛抵日本展開世界巡展

身為日本汽車品牌甚至全日本第一家跨入民用航空領域的代表，HONDA從1980年代開始進行小型商用客機的開發，期間經過多次的修正、試飛，並通過各項法規檢驗測試後，HONDA旗下第一架商用客機HONDA JET，終於將在2015年交機到客戶手上，原廠為了展現自身科技，特別選定東京的羽田國際國際機場，作為HONDA JET噴射機世界巡演的首站，也是HONDA JET在母國日本的首度公開展出。

原廠在日本展出時強調，經過史無前例且長期的研發，HONDA原廠靠著自身力量，完成了HONDA JET所使用的噴射機引擎及機身技術。分別位於左右主機翼上方的HF 120渦輪扇發動機，各可輸出2050lbf最大出力，且油耗還比同級機型更低達30%。

由於HONDA JET屬於小型商務客機定位，機身尺碼僅12.99×12.12×4.54公尺，機艙內的成員空間則為5.43×1.52×1.46m，除了飛行員以外，含空服員及乘客最多可乘坐7人。從原廠釋出的圖片來看，HondaJet的機艙空間仍足以讓乘客舒適地乘坐，且每位成員都有專屬的杯架及大面積折疊桌等舒適性配備。

雖然原廠將日本定為巡迴的首站，但由於HONDA JET乃是日本設計、美國生產，因此這架HONDA JET是由位於美國北卡羅萊納州的廠房出發，途中還進行加油作業才飛抵日本。原廠計畫在這次的世界巡迴中，飛行里程將超過48000km，在13個國家的多個城市機場降落，其中首站日本就包含仙台、神戶、熊本、岡山及成田國際機場，來吸引潛在買家的訂單。
