打造高質感小型房車，HONDA Grace日本追加1.5L汽油動力

2014年HONDA在台灣發表全新世代City小型四門房車，以精緻化的外型、寬大的車室空間與高質感駕馭體驗成為消費者的絕佳選擇。由於City在設計之初便奉行HONDA MM設計哲學，讓引擎機件空間最小化、車室空間最大化，相對的十分適合台灣、日本這樣狹窄、擁擠的道路環境。因此日本遂在2014年底以Grace的名稱導入新世代City進入日本市場販售，初期僅引進Grace Hybrid油電混合動力，並輔以高規格配備打造頂級節能小型房車。
而在Grace Hybrid在日本販售達半年時間之後，HONDA如今終於發表搭載1.5L Earth Dreams直噴引擎的汽油版本Grace，並在配備層面大幅縮減搶攻預算型買家。全新發表的汽油版車型搭載的是HONDA新世代1.5L缸內直噴DOHC i-Vtec引擎，擁有132hp/6600rpm、15.8kgm/4600rpm的優異動力輸出，G-DESIGN SHIFT LOGIC CVT變速箱營造舒適、順暢的駕馭體驗。且在日本JC08油耗測試標準下擁有21.8km/L的高水準油耗表現。
然而在配備方面Grace與Grace Hybrid卻有相當大的落差，外觀部分原有LED頭、尾燈均由傳統燈泡燈組所取代，此外單一LX車型規格也僅配備15吋鐵圈附輪圈蓋。車室內多項舒適化配備也在成本考量下取消，但卻保留真皮方向盤、電動收折後視鏡、恆溫空調（附等離子空氣清淨裝置）與智慧型鑰匙。雖然定位為平價車款，但HONDA卻在Grace配備清單中保留雙前座兩段式輔助氣囊、ABS、TCS與HAS電子輔助系統，保有現代車款最基本的安全性。
全新的HONDA Grace在價位上完美承接原有Grace Hybrid的入門定位，報價175萬日幣（折合台幣約42萬元）比起油電動力入門款Grace Hybrid DX的195萬日幣要來的低上一些（47萬台幣）。至於Grace車系頂級款Grace Hybrid EX的價格則為221萬日幣（53萬台幣），擁有HONDA新世代油電混合動力、七速雙離合器變速箱、六氣囊、完整VSA循跡穩定系統與LED頭、尾燈，配備等級之高著實令人羨慕。
