大七人座休旅出師不利？新世代HONDA Pilot因第三排安全帶瑕疵宣布召回

為了因應北美消費者大車格、大排氣量的消費習性，HONDA在2002年發表Pilot這款最多可容納8人乘坐、搭載3.5L V6引擎的中大型SUV並受到消費者的熱烈歡迎。在歷經10餘年的演進之後，2015年HONDA在芝加哥車展上發表外型更為流線且導入多項科技配備的第三代Pilot，並依循在地生產的模式在5月21正式於阿拉巴馬州的生產工廠進行量產。然而事隔不到半年，如今HONDA卻宣布由於第三排安全帶安裝瑕疵，必須召回所有甫交車的新世代Pilot進行改善，此舉無疑對銷售帶來了相當的負面影響。
HONDA表示這項瑕疵是在例行的量產品質檢查中被發現，由於組裝步驟上的差異導致當前出廠的Pilot在第三排安全帶上出現瑕疵，可能會在座椅變化過程中導致第三排安全帶夾在椅墊與車內飾版之間，造成第三排安全帶無法正常收束，因此宣布召回所有已交車的269輛新世代Pilot進行改善。
除了已經交車的269輛Pilot宣佈召回之外，所有位在各地經銷商手中的1200輛Pilot也將會暫停銷售，直到這項安全帶瑕疵改善為止。對於HONDA來說目前Pilot僅僅交車269輛毫無疑問算是不幸中的大幸，且目前也沒有任何車主因為這項瑕疵而受到傷害，讓這項瑕疵在引發後續爭議之前便平安落幕。
而為了讓這項安全帶瑕疵能徹底得到解決，專事生產HONDA Pilot的阿拉巴馬工廠也針對後排座椅與安全帶的組裝順序進行調整，確保這項安全隱憂不會再度出現，以維護HONDA Pilot在過去幾款車型所保有的優異口碑與產品表現。
