    全新組裝廠深根南美,HONDA巴西廠即將落成讓年產量高達24萬輛

除了中國近幾年來吸引了全球車廠進駐,在地生產各式新、舊世代車型之外,南美市場近年來也成為各大車廠積極投資、進駐的兵家必爭之地,包括BMW、VW、PSA、TOYOTA等車廠皆積極在南美地區設廠,生產專供南美市場消費需求的各式車款。HONDA則早在1996年便深知南美市場的重要性,成立Honda Automoveis do Brasil Ltda(HAB)進行各項在地組裝作業,如今HAB旗下全新的組裝廠預定將會在2016年落成啟用,生產全新第三代Fit提供當地與世界同步的車款品質。

這座即將落成的HONDA組裝廠自2013年開始動工,廠址位於巴西聖保羅西北方約200km的Itirapina市,與HAB現有位於Sumare的舊工廠僅相距100km。佔地面積約580萬平方公尺,總投資金額高達430億日圓並可望替當地創造高達2000個工作機會。預料在產線全部完工啟用之後將能讓當地汽車年產量從原有的12萬輛一舉躍升至24萬輛,除了供給當地市場所需之外也有機會在未來加入全球供應鏈,生產符合不同市場需求的全球戰略車。

這座對於HONDA來說相當重要的全新組裝廠確認將會在2016年三月開始量產作業,初期將僅啟用單一生產線並以Fit做為該廠首款量產的車種,年產量預估將達到6萬輛。為了因應當地的燃料需求,所有Itirapina廠區生產的Fit都搭載1.5L i-VTEC引擎並可使用傳統汽油與酒精汽油做為燃料,以因應巴西身為世界第二大酒精汽油生產國的既定策略。

此外為了提升HONDA車款在南美市場的佔有率,HONDA也在Sumare廠區成立全新的R & D設計中心,修改部分軟硬體規格讓HONDA車款能更為符合在地市場需求,讓巴西成為HONDA在南美最重要的戰略重點。
