2015 HONDA先進科技之旅（12）：小型發電廠隨處走，Power Exporter 9000讓生活無虞

隨著新燃料電池車Clarity的誕生，本身以發動機起家的HONDA當然也開發出小型發電機Power Exporter 9000，除了能讓Clarity裝載於行李廂趴趴走，也可當作出遊或緊急狀況下的電源供應站。
在全新電能動力思維下，Clarity不僅具備獨到的機能性，更能將透過氫燃料電池產生的電力儲存在車內鋰離子電池中，而這樣的電力透過Power Exporter 9000發電機後，得以能大量供應戶外或者緊急使用的電力需求。將Clarity頓時化身為大型行動電源，不論是野外郊遊、露營甚至天災導致斷電的時候，都能透過HONDA Clarity與Power Exporter 9000提供充沛且七天內暫時無虞的家庭日常用電需求。
基本上Power Exporter 9000發電機的概念，可算是「HONDA Smart Home System」智慧住宅的延伸，除了配置天然氣瓦斯引擎熱電組和太陽能電池外，也可利用Plug-in Hybrid車、電動機車所儲存的電力供應給住家，或者將住家多餘電力供應給Plug-in Hybrid車、電動機車，甚至在意外天災發生時能當做住家的小型發電廠，只是這回是以Clarity為電力來源，將電力轉換到Power Exporter 9000後，成為另一個電力來源。
所以若Clarity這類燃料電池車能普及，並搭配Power Exporter 9000，勢必可節省不少電力的消耗，對於地球環保與節能肯定有正面幫助。
