    2015 HONDA先進科技之旅(16):一路順到底,十速自排環型跑道大體驗

現在各車廠為了追求節能,除了在引擎方面下功夫外,更積極開發檔位更多的自排變速箱,從過去三速、四速到現在普遍的五速、六速,更甚七速至八速,如今HONDA更針對大型車自行研發出十速自排系統,不僅體積更小且經濟性提升6﹪,同時反應也快上30﹪以上,在環型跑道中就這麼一路平順到底。

為了達到大型車的駕乘舒適性,除了底盤和引擎外,變速箱的順暢度也影響整體感受,雖然有CVT這種一路拉到順的系統,且已經模擬得像自排,然而再加速的力道就沒有傳統自排來得好,同時也無法負荷大排氣量引擎的扭力,因此自排仍為現行主流。而HONDA針對大型車所開發的十速自排變速箱,跳脫過往旗下的平行軸式設計,首度改採全球廣泛使用的行星齒輪,這對HONDA來說可是一大突破。這具新開發的十速自排變速箱體積與六速自排相當,主要是藉由扭力轉換器和四個齒輪小型化結果,雖然廣域增加但變速時間卻相當縮短,因此回饋力道和反應提升了30﹪左右。

當然這樣的改變下在進入環型跑道就有深刻感受。這回測試車輛為採用SH-AWD的ACURA旗艦RLX,也是HONDA最頂級的Legend北美仕樣,在我先入為主的想法應該就是平順,沒有什麼貼背感的加速性,殊不知油門一開整個人就陷入椅子裡頭,既有的3.5L V6引擎原本力道就非常充足,檔位在向上變化時幾乎完全無感,時速180km/h用眼睛餘光瞄了一下檔位顯示,乖乖!已經來到十檔,真不知從二檔開始這中間的過程如何發生。如果與BMW的那具ZF八速自排相比,兩者的感覺還有點相似。

雖然以舒適、平順和經濟性為主要訴求,但這具十速自排變速箱倒也能提供運動感,差不多在150km/h巡航時引擎轉速約在3500rpm,此時檔位落在十檔,為了推進180km/h故以換檔撥片降至九檔甚至八檔,這時轉速拉升至4000rpm後速度也跟著上來,只是從八檔再升至十檔間隔稍長些,但既然都已經到了這多的檔位,速度也如此快,說實在也沒什麼好苛求了。不過對於HONDA來說,未來這具十速變速箱能否量產還是一大問題,畢竟ACURA RLX在北美試場平均一個月才銷售200輛,數量不足以支撐成本,而且在HONDA的規劃中3.0L以下多採用預CVT或者傳統自排,因此是否消費者有機會親身體驗這個多檔位新技術,恐怕還是未知數。
