2016世界新車大展報導：安全科技智慧升級，HONDA Civic強勢延續最佳國產中型車地位

因應2015年各家競爭對手的改款進化，HONDA也針對旗下車系中流砥柱的Civic車型推出同步升級，導入更高規格的智慧科技配備，鎖定國人越發注重的安全配備進行提升並發表Civic S特仕車。輔以Civic本就相當優異的動感外形與操控樂趣，除了鞏固HONDA在中型房車原有的銷售客層，大幅提升的安全性也讓Civic更具優異CP值。
於2012年導入現行第9代的Civic，在經歷了兩年的銷售周期後於2014年5月進行小改款，除了導入了新世代家族語彙的「Solid Wing Face」飛翼設計鍍鉻飾條的前臉之外，也將安全列為改款重點，包含將倒車攝影機、CTS智慧型方向燈均列為標配，在1.8VTi-S以上車型，更增加了VSA車身動態穩定系統、EPS轉向角度輔助系統，從而具備新世代車款的頂尖水準。
而在維持相同售價基礎上，HONDA 2015年所推出的Civic S特仕車更針對安全配備再進化，外觀部份增加行車警示作用的LED晝行燈；內裝部份則導入新世代多功能安全整合系統，以8吋電容式多點觸控螢幕為平台，整合NAVI衛星導航主機、盲點監視系統、胎壓偵測器、行車記錄器、倒車顯影等全時安全資訊，結合Civic原先就已經相當優異的ACE鋼骨防護車體、6 SRS輔助氣囊（2.0S），呵護駕乘者更全面的行車安全。
其中Civic S所搭載的盲點監視系統，其攝影鏡頭與左右後視鏡結合成型，於行車中切換車道、及轉彎時，主機螢幕上將顯示車輛周邊狀況，能夠有效彌補後視鏡死角產生，另外胎壓偵測器則具備無線配對與發射功能，四輪全自動搭配多功能安全整合系統，在行駛過程中，在任何一胎壓異常時即刻發出提醒與警示，提前避免行車意外發生。
車身尺碼部分維持4535×1755×1435mm、軸距2670mm，動力方面也維持1.8L與2.0L兩種動力佈局，分別擁有141hp/17.8kgm與155hp/19.4kgm的動力輸出表現，五速自排變速箱也展現成熟與精緻的傳輸表現。全車系所標配的換檔撥片搭配饒富樂趣的懸吊表現成功在舒適與操控之間取得平衡，整體車室肅靜性也有水準以上的演出。
僅管從紙上規格來看Civic似乎沒有太過突出的表現，然而在中規中矩的規格裡其實暗藏了HONDA對於駕馭安全所蘊含的各項思維，從符合人體工學的儀表、到偏重駕駛人的各項內裝鋪陳，都體現出工程師對於駕駛人的體貼。而隨著全新Civic S特仕車的問世，更是一口氣將以往所欠缺的智慧科技配備給補齊，能夠徹底滿足消費者對於家庭房車的各項需求，即使面對新世代對手也絲毫不顯遜色。
