HONDA Odyssey美規車型2017問世，原型設計圖提早曝光揭露全新面貌

HONDA旗下MPV Odyssey 依照不同市場推出兩種不同車型，2013年時日規車型進入全新世代，而美規車型至今仍遲遲未進行大改款工程，顯現出兩款產品因不同市場需求而擁有完全迥異的血統；然而，販售多年的美規車型確實逐漸因產品年齡漸長競爭力消退，因此HONDA也有意在近年推出全新車型取代現行車款，目前也已經進入研發階段，更有專利設計申請圖外流，完整預覽新一代美規Odyssey面貌。
HONDA其下產品多元，除了轎車、SUV之外，更有針對家庭推出的MPV車款，但對於全球各第市場都有一定佔有率的HONDA來說，要創造出更優異的銷售表現，就必須針對各地區市場調整旗下產品，當家七人座MPV Odyssey便同時針對不同市場，而有日規、美規兩種截然不同的產品面貌，不過隨著美規產品年齡漸長而失去競爭力，原廠也開始著手新一代產品的研發工作。
雖然HONDA逐年皆為美規Odyssey針對配備進行調整與更新，但相較於現行日規也就是國內所販售的Odyssey，美規車型確實顯得老態，加上同級對手的逼迫，確實有必要加快產品改款的腳步。依照原廠的規劃，全新美規車型有機會在今年亮相，並且會在2017年問世，除了全新的外觀設計之外，動力系統方面則會使用3.5L V6引擎作為動力來源，搭配九速自排變速箱傳遞動力。
除了明確的問世時辰傳出之外，更有來自日本專利局流出的原型設計圖出現，讓外界可以提早一虧下一代美規Odyssey使用的設計語彙與樣貌。由影像來看，整體設計比現行產品更為精緻，透過多組件的燈組設計，展現出更具科技感的效果，而且不論是車頭或車尾的設計，使用的設計語彙皆與日規車型相同，不過隨著車身尺碼放大，細節設計的比例也有所改變，但在整體外觀設計上仍相當均衡。
