2016日內瓦車展報導：1.0/1.5L渦輪來襲！HONDA新世代Civic掀背車概念先行

HONDA在日前率先放出了車尾設計圖，預告了歐洲車迷引頸期盼的10代Civic Hatchback掀背板就將在日內瓦車展首演，儘管原廠定調會先以概念車之名登場，令人有些遺憾，但隨著車展開幕後，實車的完整度、成熟度其實都相當接近量產，這意味著市售版本應該不遠矣。
事實上，因為10代Civic四門房車於2015年9月於美國率先發表後，讓不少車迷趨之若鶩，醉心於其更為動感的身形外，更是被其全新1.5L渦輪動力所吸引，隨後也在2015洛杉磯車展發表更加帥勁的雙門Civic Coupe，10代Civic Hatchback量產版理應在今年就會問世。
Civic Hatchback Concept由設計師Daisuke Tsutamori率領的歐洲設計團隊操刀，保留了歐風掀背設計的精隨外，也替Civic注入了更多鮮明且動感的設計元素。而從目前Civic Hatchback Concept看來，確實與Sedan兄弟幾分相似，擁有頭燈與水箱罩一體式相連的設計，湛藍的大小燈搭配LED日行燈，尾燈同樣是雙C設計，只不過掀背的車型多了個翹臀的空力尾翼（整合煞車燈），而為了與其他兄弟作出區隔，掀背車款前後進氣格柵採用蜂巢狀，排氣管則以中置雙出強調其運動特性。
HONDA表示，新一代Civic Hatchback將會比現行車款車長130mm、車寬30mm、同時車高也降低20mm，搭配長軸距、短前懸的設計及更大、更寬的新胎圈組，獲得更為寬體低趴的視覺效果，同時車艙空間也更為寬廣。
動力部分Civic Hatchback將具備三種動力可選，除了現行1.6L i-DTEC柴油引擎再經過微調外，將新增兩具Earth Dreams Technology地球夢技術的1.0L及1.5L VTEC TURBO渦輪增壓汽油引擎，取代了過往單一1.8L i-VTEC汽油引擎的配置，不過目前詳細動力數據尚未公布。
Civic Hatchback將繼續由HONDA英國廠負責生產，並將外銷至內全球市場，其中美國市場在車迷上書請願後也將導入，而為了新世代車型的生產，HONDA也將投入約2.7億歐元（約新台幣97億）針對產線進行升級，只不過以下消息可能會讓歐洲車迷大失所望，因為原廠表示市售版本要到2017年初才會上市開賣。
