HONDA 確定參戰Red Bull GRC！Civic Red Bull GRC賽車完成備戰！

HONDA隨著全新NSX的問世，似乎對於旗下產品運動性能有全新的想法，而接著發表的Civic十代車型也有更加運動化的定位與設計，在產品發展計畫中也加入賽車運動的規劃，並率先在紐約車展的舞台上，展出以Civic十代 Coupe車型為基礎，針對GRC（Globle Rally Cross）賽事所打造的Civic Red Bull GRC賽車，以絕佳強悍性能與耀眼塗裝，準備投入新一季賽事，第一場亮相賽事也預計在今年5月21日參戰！
HONDA 90年代在運動性能的耀眼榮光在並沒有在新時代中持續閃耀，但隨著品牌儲備的能量與技術逐漸飽滿，現在也重新回到性能領域，先是復甦品牌旗艦跑車NSX，接著再透過Civic Type R奪下最速前驅車頭銜，一再宣示品牌旗下車款在運動性能上的卓越表現。除了以上專為性能而生的車款外，全新的Civic十代也以更為運動化的定位與設計問世，並具有參戰賽事的規劃，賦予其更為寬廣且優異的發展走向。
透過HONDA Civic 十代Coupe車型為基礎打造的Civic Red Bull GRC賽車，是針對Red Bull旗下場地越野賽事打造的高性能賽車，相關的開發作業是由品牌旗下HPD（HONDA Performance Development）進行開發，以全新渦輪增壓系統為基礎，建構出超過600hp的驚人動力表現，並透過全方位的競技化設定與四輪傳動系統，應對高強度賽事所需的要求，除了擁有0-100km/h加速1.9秒的驚人實力之外，面對各種高低落差不一的比賽場地，也可以毫不畏懼的一躍征服。
不過面對高強度賽事與未知的賽事需求，HPD並非獨立開發調校，同時也受到OMSE車隊的技術指導。不過除了原廠優異的技術、車隊的指導之外，HONDA順利進入GRC賽事也受到到北美基層賽車聯盟發展計畫的幫助；HONDA Civic Red Bull GRC賽車首次亮相時間將會是5月21日，並在美國鳳凰城的賽事活動上率先亮相，接著便會開始投入賽事。
