一年一度的2016 Goodwood Festival of Speed即將在6月23-26日於英國舉行，各家車廠早已準備好在這個歐洲車壇盛會上大顯身手，其中HONDA不只會邀請F1車手Jenson Button親身試駕當家超跑NSX之外，也將在此發表角逐FIA WTCC藝術車競賽（Art Car Contest）的Civic WTCC彩繪車！

這輛Civic WTCC全新彩繪車是由HONDA與Jean Graton基金會合作下的產物，由藝術總監Dominique Graton親自操刀，或許你對這位大名鼎鼎的藝術家有些陌生，但其實他老兄可是知名賽車漫畫《Michel Vaillant》的作家，國際知名大導演盧貝松還將其翻拍成同名電影（台譯為雷霆殺陣），並在2003年11月上映。

《Michel Vaillant》的故事背景描述1957年出生的男主角是個對賽車癡迷的賽車天才，儘管家人始終反對他參與賽車運動，但他仍以獲得24小時利曼大賽為冠軍目標努力中，想當然爾，在主角威能之下，最終順利獲得利曼大賽冠軍，搖身一變成為當時家喻戶曉的車手，他的成名也因此讓另一位車手就此被迫退休，而其女兒懷恨在心，而展開一連串報復Michel Vaillant的過程…

至於本次Civic WTCC彩繪車的創作靈感則是取自《Michel Vaillant》其中一部分，描述主角駕著FERRARI勇奪1974年F1摩納哥大獎賽的過程。
