    撤退是最好的進攻?HONDA CR-Z傳出將退出美國市場

在現今環保意識抬頭的車市中,除了傳統車型逐漸降低其排放量外,隨著相關科技的進步,油電混合動力車型(HYBRID)乃至純電動車款也逐漸在市場上展現影響力。其中日本大廠HONDA於2012年時,更推出全球第一部採用Hybrid動力的Coupe車型CR-Z,雖說CR-Z承繼HONDA品牌所堅持的,獨具個性化的設計原則,但全球車市中表現並不如預期,CR-Z相繼於歐洲、澳洲市場退出後,近期更傳出將退出美國市場,使已傳出停產消息的CR-Z再度蒙上陰影。

作為CRX精神上的繼承人,CR-Z雖然已於北美市場銷售近6年的時間,但在面對TOYOTA Priu與VW集團在北美油電車市場上激烈競爭下,CR-Z也只能黯然退場。此外,除了長年低迷的銷售量外,近期CR-Z也列入北美因高田氣囊而進行召回的車型之一,無疑是壓垮CR-Z的最後一根稻草。

從銷售策略來看,HONDA曾致力於提升低迷買氣,其中限定車型便提供充電套件(supercharger kit)以提升整體輸出,並且附上六速手排變速箱以吸引更多追求駕馭感官的消費者,雖說新年式的CR-Z未附上此選配,但其小改款除添增雙門小跑的運動感外,動力方面因採用新鋰離子電池組,並且在引擎高轉速負載時加大進氣的汽門切換,使其綜效馬力及扭力有效地獲得提升。

儘管HONDA為CR-Z做出不少努力,但其銷量依然無法獲得佳績,2010年時,僅售出5249輛,雖然2011年時達到11330輛巔峰,但於2012年時卻重摔至4192輛,至2014年時再度破底,來到3500輛,而2015年時更下降至970輛,整體表現相當不樂觀。

日本市場方面,HONDA於6月時便推出CR-Z Final labe告別特仕版,因此退出北美市場幾乎可說是CR-Z的完結篇,不過HONDA的品牌形象在車市中依然有一定程度影響力,因此不能否認未來旗下Hybrid Coupe車型是否會捲土重來,畢竟在歐美市場以及部分亞洲地區,如中國與香港,對於油電混合車依然有部分補助,至於未來HONDA會如何利用其品牌優勢與市場策略,就讓我們一同拭目以待吧!
