不讓你專美於前，2018 HONDA Type R紐柏林測試來勢洶洶！

正當眾人將目光都放在FORD Focus RS身上的時候，HONDA已經準備好要在2017年反擊了！2018 HONDA Civic Type R已在Nurburgring(紐柏林)進行測試，看起來HONDA似乎來勢洶洶。
Type R在去年以全新開發的2.0 VTEC Turbo直列四缸渦輪增壓引擎，搭配6速手排變速系統、前輪驅動重返性能掀背市場。擁有310hp最大馬力，40.8kgm最大扭力，0-100km/h僅需5.7秒，甚至在德國紐柏林跑出7分50秒63的最速成績，贏得最速前驅車頭銜。但不到一年就被VW Golf GTI Clubsport S以7分49秒21的成績刷新紀錄。
而這次在紐柏林進行測試的Civic Type R又引發車迷熱烈討論。在測試影片中Type R退檔時排氣管傳出的「波、波」聲，就有傳言指出這次Type R可能會推出雙離合器變速箱，就像MINI JCW、GOLF R和A45 AMG一樣。而HONDA也有研發製造自家的雙離合器變速箱，北美消費者也期待Type R能夠推出自排變速箱版本，因此有此傳言流出。另外一種說法是，全新Type R將搭載降檔轉速匹配系統，就像NISSAN 370Z和BMW M2上搭載的一樣，讓根趾之後的補油更精準並有效拉高轉速。
雖然這些有趣的猜測還不能證實，但可以預見的是這台Type R將會更加兇悍，至於在偽裝下的外觀並不用刻意去猜測，因為HONDA已經提供接近量產車的概念車供車迷想像。
