日前HONDA Civic Type R偽裝車才在紐柏林曝光，現在又被拍到HONDA另外一款主力車款–CR-V的偽裝車。也許是因為大改款的日子近了，其一舉一動早已成為眾人關注的焦點，特別是這台有傳言將晉升為7人座LSUV的CR-V。
雖然尚未有相關數據加以佐證，但從偽裝照真的可以發現第五代CR-V真的變大了！從外觀已經有十足的中大型SUV氣勢，不論車長、車高、厚度都有放大的趨勢，特別是C住之後似乎更為寬敞，必定與第三排座位的安排有關。
動力方面，根據推測5代CR-V將與Civic同樣搭載全新1.5 四缸VTEC Turbo渦輪引擎 ，而這顆引擎在Civic上可以輸出174hp的最大馬力和22.5kgm的最大扭力，但在CR-V上勢必搭配較高的輸出。另外應該也會推出自然進氣引擎的版本和用以迎戰Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV、Nissan X-Trail Hybrid、Toyota RAV4 Hybrid等競爭對手的插電式油電混合動力車型。至於傳動系統將以前輪驅動為標配，四輪傳動則作為選配供消費者選購；而變速箱將會採用CVT無段變速系統。
LSUV的市場日漸壯大，HONDA CR-V未來將擔任HONDA進軍LSUV的主力，至於小型SUV級距將由HONDA HR-V一肩扛起。HONDA CR-V預計最快在今年年底或明年才會與消費者見面，至於售價可能將接近24,645美金。
