小小心臟蘊含無限可能！HONDA S-Dream展現418km/h驚人動能

想達到420km/h的超高速率，如果不是像BUGATTI Veyron Super Sport這種使用超大顆引擎的車種似乎頗有難度，不過對HONDA S-Dream而言，既使憑藉著660cc的三缸直列式渦輪引擎，也可以在巴納維爾的鹽沼中，以418km/h的極速在這雪白大地中奔馳！
為了能使此具引擎發發揮出如此兇猛的動能，由100名自願技師中挑選16為佼佼者特別為其缸體、活塞、曲軸與閥門進行改良，相較於原本的S660，其動能表現已大幅提升至3倍之譜。此外為了使此引擎能承受大幅增加的負擔，此團隊也特別將引擎下半部換上更為堅實的機組與連桿，以增加其鋼性。
雖然說先前於日本圈道測試時，便已獲得良好的成績，但測試人員於鹽地行駛時也發現車輛車身由於飛散的鹽沙而掩蓋其身軀，因此後來特別請來位於加州部門的HONDA Performance Development改良其外觀，但也因為這點，此HONDA S-Dream初期便沒能打破於此處舉辦的Bonneville Speed Week競速紀錄。
不過近日經過機組人員的努力後，S-Dream於爾後便達到365km/h的驚人成績，並且一路提升至現在的418km/h，這也再度證明了HONDA對於引擎設計及調校的深厚功力。
