在全球汽車消費市場轉向以 SUV 和 Crossover 車型為主要選購趨勢的帶動下，各大車廠無不針對旗下產品陣容進行調整因應，其中在英國市場 HONDA 近年來又以全新 Jazz（台版 Fit）與 HR-V 兩款全球戰略車型獲得好評，二手車殘值成為同級距車型中表現最佳者，同時接續而來的全新世代 Civic 更負有重任預期將引領跨界風潮。

根據英國二手車估值機構 CAP 的統計，HONDA HR-V 柴油動力車型在購買 12 個月或行駛 2 萬英里（約 3.2 萬公里）後，其二手車殘值仍有新車價格的 77% 水準，相較主要競爭對手 NISSAN Qashqai 與其他跨界休旅車型多出達 15% 幅度。

至於小型掀背定位的 HONDA Jazz 車系，二手車殘值表現也扶搖直上，相較部分前代車型暴漲 16% 外，對比主要競爭對手 FORD Fiesta 也拉出高於 12.1% 的差距。這些數據主要還是顯示出英國消費者對 HONDA 造車品質的認同，以及產品定位成功打中市場需求，因此無論在休旅車或小型都會掀背車型的二手車殘值皆能高於同級對手水準。

對二手車殘值的分析，更能確實反映出市場對車輛品牌的信任與喜好程度，就像台灣二手車市場普遍由 TOYOTA 品牌車型維持高殘值水準；HONDA 在英國市場藉由提升品牌價值與製造工藝取得消費者青睞，新車銷售也不採取大幅折扣方式，都是對於維持二手車價所做的努力。同時採英國現地製造的全新世代 HONDA Civic，則預估在優異產品體質和銷售策略上，有望創下英國版「神車」的紀錄。
