等了一年，HONDA Clarity Fuel Cell終於交車了！

現今市面上的新能源車，除了油電混合與純電動車型比較常見之外，還有大家比較少見的氫燃料電池汽車。HONDA旗下的首款燃料電池車型Clarity Fuel Cell也在最近正式交車了。在Clarity Fuel Cell原型車已經推出一年後，終於首次開放給一般大眾使用。
HONDA從2005年開始就開始邀請有車主參加HONDA氫燃料電池車的試駕體驗，而這次交車的六位車主，當然也都曾試過HONDA第二代Clarity FCX。
說是交車，但車主們並非用買的，而是以租賃的方式每月向HONDA繳納369美元（約新台幣11000元）的租金，為期三年。雖然Clarity Fuel Cell對大續航力約600公里，加氫也只需要三到五分鐘，如果長途旅行的話，可能會遇到找不到加氫站的窘境，為了解決這個問題，HONDA也向Clarity Fuel Cell的車主面費提供三年內三周的一般燃油車使用。
從驅動方式上來看，雖然氫燃料電池車和電動車同樣是採用電動馬達提供動力，但是氫燃料電池車的電力卻並不是藉由充電來獲得，而是與一般燃油車一樣，需要補充燃料，一般燃油車補給的是汽柴油，而氫燃料電池車則是補充氫氣。經過燃燒之後，氫燃料電池車最後排出的僅有乾淨的水。
氫燃料電池車看似相當環保，但是目前最大的障礙是基礎設施不足，氫燃料電池車專用的加氫站與電動車的充電站向較之下，落後了許多，更別提一般燃油車四處可見的加油站了。美國加州，也只有70處加氫站。
