「還我路權！重機上國道！」近些日子以來，這樣的聲音不論在網路平台、新聞媒體或報章雜誌上均不時有所耳聞。台灣一直存在著不小的大型重型機車市場，雖然政府已於民國101年7月起開放250cc以上，俗稱黃牌及紅牌之重機行駛於快速公路，但至今仍未開放騎士上國道騎乘。

近年來，透過重機騎士們努力爭取，交通部於2016年九月表示，將於2017年第一季完成綜合評估，並可望率先開方國道4號、6號、8號等橫向國道以及國道3號新化以南路段優先試辦開放大型重型機車之國道行車權。

然而，即便交通部有相關計畫了，重機騎士們可準備好了嗎？HONDA看到了這樣的需求，於2016年12月特別請到來自於台灣及日本兩國的教練團隊，舉辦了針對高、快速公路騎乘時之安全駕駛訓練，提供各種機車友們一個安全且實用的受訓管道。

在台灣，這樣的安駕活動其實並不常見，HONDA可說是台灣機車界中，最為重視該類訓練並積極舉辦相關實際訓練活動的少數車廠之一。也正因如此，活動亦吸引了為數眾多的HONDA重機車主前來參加學習。

本次安駕活動吸引了多達數十位的HONDA重機車友們共同參與。

為了讓各車友們擁有一個封閉、安全且平穩的訓練場地，HONDA特別包下一座位於中部地區的小型賽車場上舉辦，並派出不少經過訓練後的工作人員，時時監控場中的每一個環節。而此次安駕活動師資亦相當豐富，邀情來自台灣及日本、受過專業駕駛訓練且經驗相當豐富的安全駕駛訓練教官來實際教導及示範正確的重機駕駛方式。

活動邀請來自台日兩地多名經驗豐富的訓練教官蒞臨指導。

本次安全駕駛活動分為數階段進行，自解釋當前交通現況及訓練要點的室內課程講解、死角體驗到賽道實地練習，各教學內容難度漸進，條理分明，讓學員們能夠由淺入深、穩扎穩打的完整學習正確的重機騎乘方式。

由於高速公路試辦重機行駛是學員們可能將於近期面臨的道路環境，室內課程因地制宜的首先根據台灣高速公路之基本現況做解釋，並提供日本高速公路上的機車事故率資訊做為參考，進而讓學員們了解騎乘於高、快速公路上的安全隱憂及正確的事故處理方式。
