再會了自然進氣 新世代HONDA Accord引擎全面渦輪化

HONDA 在 7 月 14 號於美國發表了2018 HONDA Accord ，新車將基於 HGCP（Honda Global Compact Platform）打造，擁有與 Civic Sedan 相同的低重心特性，同時，軸距也比現行車款長了55mm，車內空間表現更優異。這次改款最大的變動在於引擎動力上，捨棄了自然進氣引擎，全車系只提供渦輪引擎與油電混合動力引擎；在安全性方面，原廠首次將新一代 HONDA Sensing 主動式安全系統搭載在這款車上。
在車體結構方面，原廠宣稱，第十代 Accord 採用全新 HGCP 底盤，在加上高達 54.2% 的輕量化高剛性鋼材來打造而來，剛性更好，且車身重量比上一代最少減輕了 50 公斤；在車身尺碼方面，第十代 Accord 變得更低趴且寬大，車長比現行車款減了 10mm、車高降低 15mm，同時軸距也增加了 55mm。.
在外觀方面，Accord 改款後變與 Civic Sedan 非常相似，車頭燈組是由九顆 LED 所組成的矩陣式頭燈，頭燈與引擎蓋有一條粗壯的鍍鉻飾條貫穿，閃亮亮的相當醒目，而車頭的水箱護罩採用原廠最新的 Solid Wing 家族式設計語彙，在車頭燈左右兩旁則是 LED 霧燈，是的，整輛車都是採用 LED 燈具，再也看不到鹵素燈泡了。
來到車內，會發現排檔桿怎麼不見了，原來是這次改款後高階車型的排檔桿改成了按鍵式的設計，當然也採用電子手剎車，車內空間在少了這兩根棒狀物後，看上去清爽許多。車內共有三個螢幕，分別是駕駛座前方的 6 吋抬頭顯示器，下方電子儀表板的 7 吋全彩數位液晶顯示螢幕，最後的中央台則是觸控式的 8 吋螢幕，支援 Apple Carplay 與Android Auto 手機連線系統。
在動力方面，現行入門車款的 2.4L i-VTEC 自然進氣引擎在改款後改成 1.5L VTEC Turbo 引，能輸出的最大馬力為192hp，搭配 CVT 變速箱或 6 速的手排變速箱；至於頂級車款，原本的 3.5L V6 NA 引擎，在本次改款後改為來自 Civic Type R的 2.0L VTEC Turbo 引擎，但經原廠調校後，最大馬力下修到 252 hp，搭配全球第一具前驅的 10 速自排變速箱，或是 6 速手排變速箱；最後的油電混合動力車款則是由一具 2.0L Atkinson 引擎配上電動馬達所組成。
