誰說LC 500不會跑？LEXUS靠它稱霸日本Super GT

相較於Le Mans及方程式賽車，雖說房車賽賽車在造型上看似較不具未來前衛感，但卻因多採用市售車型為基礎修改而來，相對顯得「親民」許多。雖說台灣賽車運動不算盛行，不過北方的日本倒是頗為熱衷，甚至擁有足以和德國房車賽（DTM）並稱之Super GT房車錦標賽。
Super GT之最高級別為GT500級，並由TOYOTA/LEXUS、HONDA及NISSAN三家車廠分別以LC 500、NSX及GT-R相互爭奪，而今年賽季分別擁有6輛、5輛及4輛之陣容。值得一提的是，前兩款車型均以今年賽季作為新手年度，並以強勢的表現繳出相當亮眼的成績。
Super GT 2017年度賽季自今年4月起正式起跑，而截至本月前，其GT500級別一律由TOYOTA集團專為賽事所開發的LEXUS LC 500賽車完全制罷！不過，作為其死對頭，HONDA NSX也不是省油的燈，於上周末於富士賽道上奪得起跑桿位和冠軍獎盃，一舉中斷了LC 500專美於前的情況。
2017賽季如今已進行五場，並由LC 500及NSX分別奪得4勝及1勝，而距離賽季告終仍有3站要跑。雖說目前並未有原廠車隊加入賽事，但外界認為較具迎面的前三個私人車隊均採用LC 500賽車，給了TOYOTA集團再度稱霸賽事的信心！
日本Super GT除了高階的GT500級別外，也有較為入門的GT300等級。過去，NISSAN曾多次以不同版本的GT-R賽車囊括兩級別賽事之總冠軍；不過去年則由同為TOYOTA集團的LEXUS RC F及TOYOTA 86分別奪下GT500和GT300兩級別之年度冠軍！
