三雄聯手，TOYOTA、HONDA與NISSAN將聯合成立氫燃料電池公司

雖然說本身在全球銷售表現上已排的得上前段班，但日本大廠TOYOTA為了應對詭譎多變的市場環境，近期相當致力於與其他車廠的聯盟關係，例如與MAZDA等車廠所成立的電動車研發同盟便是其中的例子。不過對於車廠而言，僅針對電動車進行異業合作似乎是不夠的，根據外電報導，TOYOTA將與HONDA和NISSAN企業再度合作，並且聯合投資氫燃料電池公司。
根據此前的相關資訊，除了日本三大汽車龍頭外，其他包括JXTG新日本石油能源集團以及東京燃氣等11家大型企業都在此次的合作名單之一。目前新公司將命名為Japan H 2 Mobility以推廣氫燃料電池以及車型的相關業務。
不過若是以目前Japan H 2 Mobility的業務範圍來看，由於投資公司也涵蓋了日本政策投資銀行等金融機構以及天然氣營業公司，因此未來整體業務勢必涵蓋車輛製造與天然氣等相關產業的營運。對此，該公司也表示預計於十年內完成日本國內的戰略布局，並且在2021年前於國內建置至少80個以上的車輛加氫站，以達到順利推廣新能源車型的業務目標。
