明年開始交車，HONDA Passport正式進入阿拉巴馬生產線

在2018洛杉磯車展正式回歸美國車壇的HONDA Passport將正式進入生產階段，未來該車將會在位於阿拉巴馬的工廠生產，預計明年初開始陸續交車。
HONDA位於巴拿馬的工廠每年可以生產出34萬輛車和引擎，根據HONDA表示自2001年以來，工廠已經生產超過470萬輛車以及引擎。目前位於阿拉巴馬工廠生產的車型，除了最新回歸的Passpor，還包括了Pilot、Rigeline以及Odyssey。而車廠之所以會選擇此工廠生產的原因，除了車輛使用的是與Pilot和Rigeline相同的平台外，就連引擎使用的也是相同的3.5L V6引擎。
這具3.5L V6引擎配置在HONDA Passport上，可以創造出280 hp的馬力以及355Nm的峰值扭力舉，搭配9速自排變速箱，標準版車型為前輪驅動，i-VTM4四輪驅動版則是配置在高階版車型。
HONDA Passport的回歸對美國市場而言相當重要，該車的出現是為了補齊旗下SUV產品，為客戶提供更多元的選擇，該車產品定位介於CR-V以及Pilot之間。此次總共推出四版車型，分別為Sport、EX-L、Touring以及Elite。雖然Passport與Pilot的產品定位相似，不過少了第三排座椅換來的，是後座乘客更舒適的座艙以及更寬敞的行李廂空間。
