連雨刷都是積木！LEGO打造1：1 HONDA Civic Type R

LEGO的模型車已經成為模型愛好者的必備收藏，最出名的就是旗下的Speed Champions系列，但這些模型車的討論度仍不及1：1的模型車，先前該公司也曾與BUGATTI、McLAREN和CHEVROLET等知名車廠合作過，就在最近日系車廠HONDA也想挑戰1：1模型車，這次推出的就是曾在紐柏林北賽到創下最速紀錄的HONDA Civic Type R。
負責這次組裝任務的，是由LEGO原廠認證大師Ryan McNaught率領的九人小組，花費近1300多個小時和使用超過32萬個積木組裝完成，該團隊不僅將HONDA Civic Type R還原何時車相同的樣貌車身的部分鈑件例如雨刷和尾翼等都是用LEGO積木完成的，此外，這個模型的重量也超過1300kg幾乎接近實車的重量。
這款LEGO模型車雖然無法與先前推出1：1的BUGATTI Chiron在道路上奔馳，但這款1：1的HONDA Civic Type R也同樣有隱藏版功能，根據原廠的說法，該車的燈組與不只是使用針的燈泡，還可以透過iPad平板電腦開啟和關閉。
相較於小尺寸的模型，絕大多數的車迷和模型迷真正有興趣的，都是1：1的HONDA Civic Type R，這款模型車並不會販售但原廠表示，這部1：1模型將會在4月28日於澳洲的「Lego Master」電視節目與觀眾見面。
