Civic 北美市場仍有人氣，HONDA推出改款Civic Hatchback追加六速手排變速箱

正因為SUV好賣，所以Civic被迫淡出台灣市場，儘管如此，HONDA Civic在其他市場仍然保有高人氣，北美HONDA本周就推出2020年式小改款Civic Hatchback掀背車，雖然只是內裝和外觀的修飾，強化視覺效果，但對許多玩家來說，這次的改款卻是一個重大的變革，因為HONDA Civic Hatchback將提供6速手排變速箱。
Civic Hatchback的改款變化最大的是頂級的Sport Touring車型，它同步提供CVT無段變速和六速手排變速箱兩種選項，手排車型是2020年式新增的車型，買家可選擇自排或手排，另外車換上新的結合7吋螢幕的娛樂資訊系統，同時音響也做了升級，從4只揚聲器升級為8只。
另外Sport和Sport Touring車型還標配按鍵式引擎啟動系統和Keyless免持鑰匙上車的功能。CVT無段變速的車型則配備遠距引擎啟動功能。Civic Hatch Sport車型有新的真皮座椅，和Civic Sedan Sport 的儀表台飾板則加了壓花皮革包履。
所有2020年式 Civic掀背車型的外觀都做了小幅度的修飾，包括重新設計的霧燈，霧燈外殼結合與車身同色處理的橫桿。水箱護罩也做了修改，同時車頭燈採燻黑處理。所有兩廂車的車身都採用了新的深灰色塗裝，加上黑色輪圈設計，而Sport Touring車型則採用經過改良的LED車頭燈。
在座艙內，HONDA Civic Hatchback利用不同儀表板裝飾，來區隔各個車型。另依不同車型，內裝也各有不同的處理，像是Sport Touring和EX-L飾條是採用獨家拉絲黑色處理，而LX和EX則採用全新的彩色圖像顯示。Sport車型還有結合幾何圖案的內飾。 EX的配件還配有一個8向電動駕駛座，以及皮革包裹的方向盤和換檔旋鈕。HONDA還為Civic掀背車全車系進行隔音效果升級工程。
2020年式HONDA Civic Hatchback新增功能和新造型，但車價反而小幅下降。 配備CVT的入門級LX車型，起跳價22,580美元（合新台幣70.8萬元）。
