面對嚴峻的產業寒冬，日本HONDA本田汽車事業進行史上最大組織改造，本田技研職權被削

全球汽車產業正經歷百多年來最大的震盪，國際貿易大戰到更嚴苛的法規，再加上全球性的市場衰退，還有中國的疫情衝擊，各主流車廠如雙B、TOYOTA等，正試圖透過結盟企業、內部裁員瘦身或組織重建，以度過產業的寒冬。而HONDA本周也在全球官網上宣布，自4月1日起，將進行建廠有史以來，最大規模的組織架構調整。
按HONDA的官方說法，HONDA一直在努力實現已擬訂的Vision 2030願景計畫，在為未來企業成長做準備的同時，HONDA也一直採取措施來鞏固現有業務。為了加速這些舉措，HONDA將改變公司組織和運營結構。 據悉此次HONDA的組織改造，主要還是為了節縮成本。主要的變動在於將本田研發子公司本田技術研究所（簡稱本田技研）的四輪車產品開發業務，合併到HONDA本田企業總部的四輪車事業本部。
HONDA自1948年9月成立，集團總部的主要負責銷售、製造、採購，子公司本田技術研究所主要負責研發。去年以來，HONDA內部認為本田技研組織獨立，開發太多的地域性的車款，削弱HONDA車款的成本競爭實力。因此這次將四大功能集中，有利企業總部推動整體化的經營，能夠更有效結合四輪車業務的整體戰略，提供更精準的產品企劃與展發，同時進一步提升從研發到製造整個過程的效率。
未來，擁有四輪車研發、四輪車製造開發和設備製造功能的四輪車事業本部，將和HONDA的生產本部、採購本部、事業管理本部，構成HONDA的四大事業板塊。
另一方面，四輪車事業本部也將分為負責事業戰略的事業統括部、負責商品開發的製造研發中心、負責制造和品質管理的生產統括部、負責供應鏈企劃執行的SCM統括部以及負責銷售戰略制訂執行的營業統括部五個部門。
據悉，此次本田技術研究所僅保留四輪車研發的「工業設計」功能，今後將集中負責新型移動技術、機器人工學、能源等新產品、新技術的研發，業務部門從原來的統括職能本部、先進技術研究所、自動移動技術中心等七個部門重整為五個部門。而其中的先進技術研究所將新增智慧化、生產工藝、自動駕駛和高端駕駛支援系統等的研發職能。
此外，各車廠也積極著墨於未來移動事業，HONDA本田的四輪車事業本也整合原有的智慧網聯車服務和eMaaS的戰略企劃、開發等職能，新成立移動服務事業本部，以此為基礎， 2月18日新成立負責日本國內移動服務業務的新公司──本田移動解決方案株式會社（Honda Mobility Solutions）。
